Ethre Posted January 31, 2010 Share Posted January 31, 2010 Congratulations. :) Most come with two 6 pin PCI-E connectors...what you have to look at is how many amps the 12V rails take, and how many rails it has. Cheaper high watt PSUs that I've seen have 2 or 3 12V rails (which is good) but the amperage is so poor it would fail/die easily if you had a high end graphics card and CPU in it. It was a big fad for a while to be able to say a PSU had dual or triple rails. Some companies were even claiming their PSUs had dual rails when in fact they were simply on a larger single rail (generally considered a better idea).
