Installation

Soooo about one month ago I decided I would reinstall Fallout and I KNEW I would have to go through the errors of installing again. I figured that I would remember how to get it to work but no. See my problem is when it is installing it can not install all of the textures.bsa and im left with about (maybe) 200 out of whatever it should be. I have tried the Bethesda patch because I had a feeling the first patch was what fixed it... But now the patch is gone and its new, and Fallout has to WORK to install the patch (which is quite stupid). I tried RegCure, because we tried that the first time and that didnt help. Also some people said to download a new texture pack, well my computer would definently not run the HD Texture packs. So I need some help! And thanks (I feel so stupid...) :wallbash:

Ok heres what it says and some pics:

CRC Error: The file C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data\Fallout- Textures.bsa doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running my be corrupted; contact your software vendor. Then it gives options of ABORT, RETRY, or IGNORE. I have hit ignore before and then it finishes but the file is too small. Retry it keeps going and going (pushing retry every time) and even passes the end of the install progress bar. Abort and then well you know... no Fallout.

There may be a problem with your disk drive. Will it install on another computer?

Yeah it installs on my Vista and I think I just took the textures from there, but my Vista is in Oklahoma right now and I am in Missouri. It might install on my laptop, definitely will not run, but it might install. Thanks for the help Smosh!
