I need help installing FOSE

As the title insists, I am having trouble installing FOSE (Fallout Script Extender)

It all started when I got the PC version of Fallout 3, I wanted to install mods for it, so I browsed the files of FO3 Nexus.

I came across this

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3388

"Oh Boy"

I thought to myself as I downloaded the file.

a few minutes later when I load my game BAM!

It says I need to install FOSE v1 or higher.

So once I download the file

( I use 7zip, just to point it out)

So I read the readme, and I drag and drop everything to the destination. Nothing really happens, so I launch Fallout 3, like I normally.

It still says I have to install a v1 version of FOSE

What am I doing wrong?

Dear Cubanpete24,

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8606 <- Get the latest FOSE.

[ Installation ]

1. Copy the .dll files and fose_loader.exe to your Fallout 3 directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder, and should contain files called Fallout3.exe, FalloutLauncher.exe and the G.E.C.K. (if installed).

2. Launch Fallout by running fose_loader.exe from the Fallout3 directory.

If you use a desktop shortcut to launch Fallout 3 normally, just update the shortcut to point to fose_loader.exe instead of Fallout3.exe or FalloutLauncher.exe.

the easiest and user-friendly way of playing Fallout 3 with mods and script extenders like FOSE is to use the Fallout Mod Manager:

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=640 <- FOMM on Nexus

After installing FOMM and FOSE just click the "Launch Fose" button in the FOMM window.
