I can't get Amazing jump to work!(by RamyEnfant)I download and install how the readme says, and i even watched a video with steps and followed them perfectly and it still doesn't work

I've even tried deleting all the normal jump files, yet for some impossible reason,i still do the normal jump.I'm using Windows Vista, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion-Game of the Year Edition downloaded from Steam. If someone could help at all,or at least give a suggestion, that would be great.

Deadly Reflex freezes my game (by SkyCaptain) I downloaded this and installed like it said, checked the box in data files, and started the game, and the farthest i get in the game is to the first load screen and then it freezes and i have to bring out the task manager.I don't know whats wrong with it,it just wont let me start the game.I;m using Windows Vista as mentioned above the line, and a steam version of Game of the Year Oblivion.Any help would be appreciated.

Id really like some help with these, its some of the best mods Ive seen so far and seeing as they don't work for me is like someone offering you a piece of cake and then they shove it in your face. :(

Thanks people!

That's probably your problem. I don't know about amazing jump, but Deadly Reflex needs it.

There should be a readme to install it. It's not hard, it just might seem strange to someone not used to all this stuff. You have to launch the game with the provided Script Extender launcher, not the regular one.

There is nothing to use in OBSE. It is a script extender that adds functions to the base game program. There are no user controllable options. It just MUST be installed and you MUST start the game with OBSE and NOT the Oblivion launcher.

OBMM will automatically start the game with OBSE if it is installed and you use the built in 'Start Oblivion' command located on the far right of the OBMM main screen. If OBSE is not installed properly, it will just start Oblivion normally.

You MUST start by launching OBSE and not Oblivion every time or it will not work.

What you describe, crashing when starting, is one symptom of having a mod that requires OBSE trying to load without OBSE.

Load order is also important. Many times a mod will not work because some other mod conflicts - Not all mods will work together without problems.

It sounds like you decided to pick 2 of the most difficult mods to get working to start with. That's like learning to drive in a race car. Expect to crash a lot. Instead, go back and learn in a family sedan. Pick a simple mod and get it working first, then one a little more difficult. After a while, you will be ready to try the race car again. But even if you are experienced, remember that even the best race drivers crash occasionally - expect some crashing before you get it right.
