Azerasilver
I made the ultimate mistake of trying to remove master files for a plugin while in FNVedit instead of using the Geck, I was trying to remove a dependency plugin from its list, but instead only removed the reference to the dependency plugin. Now any program I would use to edit the file either crashes on loading or simply won't try because it finds the "UNKNOWN" plugin in the dependency list. I tried using Geck to remove the UNKNOWN with ctrl - del but it didn't work. Is there any way for me to remove the reference using a snip program or something like that? luthienanarion
FNVEdit is the only tool that I would recommend using to remove masters from a plugin; it seems that you didn't do it correctly somehow. Fortunately, *Edit keeps backups of plugin files. Look in Data\FNVEdit Backups\ to find an earlier version of your plugin.
