muskycoder Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Hi, right now I am looking for a program that can extract or rip the 3D models from "Dragon Age"Anyone know a good program that can do this? I am working on a mod for Dragon Age and wanting to edit some of the 3D models in maya or max 3d. Thanks if you can help me out here.
raughnut Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 You could try the dragon age toolset to open the modelmeshdata.erf and modelhierarchies.erf and extract the .msh and .mmh files for the models that you want. I use tazpn command tools to convert them to fbx and import them into max. you can extract the .dds textures also.
DarkeWolf Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 good post. I didnt know how to extract the meshes!I've used a program called DA Tools to extract the skins. Very simple and easy program to use. http://social.bioware.com/project/41/#files
