I think there's something I'm not doing right when installing.

So I read the guide and tried installing mods I got from the Nexus.

I tried both manual by installing in C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override

And by using DAModder

Ok, so it looks like the the mods are somewhat working. The Leinana mod is working so that should mean that the other mods are, too.

I read in a readme that the character creation mods tends to clash when creating a character which is why it doesn't show up.

 

Only one that doesn't appear to work is the extra dog slot mod. If anyone can help me with that one, I'd appreciate it

CC's and PT's both use the same chargen file. when you install one, it overwrites the other. Not sure about the hairs mod, but I might assume that it does the same. you will need to download and install the compatibility file (a chargen file that has all these particular mods listed in it) in order for them to work correctly. the compatibiity files are usually listed there as a download with it's mod.

Thanks for the heads up.

I actually did something stupid with the dog mod and didn't install it right since it was a dazip file. It works perfectly now though, now that I installed it correctly with the DAUpdater

glad to hear that you got the dog slot working too. I may have to try that one whenever I start a new game.
