Why when I edit an interior cell I also edit AbandonedMine?

AbandonedMine is the first cell on the list, so there are many actions a modder can do that will accidentally register as a change in this cell. Linking doors is a big culprit. Many of these changes are not actually changes.

It sounds like you are translating a mod into a different language. It sounds like that is an action which can cause AbandonedMine to register a change.

I suggest that you just go about your business and make your mod, and then when you are done, go back and clean your mod to eliminate all changes to AbandonedMine.

To do this, go to TES CS>Main Window>File>Data>Details>*Your Mod* Find the entries concerning AbandonedMine, highlight them and push the delete button. Click "Close", and on the Data window click "OK."

I marked it as ignored. I think it should work now...

But... why does this happens every time I try to change an Interior Cell's name? It shouldn't happen if I don't touch it.

BTW, what's the GRUP tag? My edit log says something about "Cell (alotofnumbers) Children". Is it garbage or it's normal?

I stopped using the Menu>>World>Cells window long time ago because if I go up and down the list with the arrow keys, the CS marks every single cell with an asterisk as I pass thru (interiors only). It does not happen to everybody. I suppose it is related to some characteristic of the setup. 64bit OS maybe?

I use the cell view window instead: right click on the cell and choose Edit.

I also have lots of Children and would like to understand them, too. (no pun intended)

I use the cell view window to edit the cells. Maybe the CS selects the first cell (in this case AbandonedMine) and then it moves the "selection" to the Cell that you clicked to edit. Maybe that's because my CS marks AbandonedMine as edited, it seems that every thing you selected with the "World>Cells" (that opens when you use the Edit button in the Cell View Window) is marked as edited.

Maybe if I want to create a new Cell his ID should start with 0.

BTW, It happens to me too, and I have a 32 bits OS. Maybe there is something wrong with the settings.

Depending upon what cell these children are in, it is probably normal. This list shows everything your mod changes, and most of the things in the list will be the things you purposely changed. GRUP... Cell Children, GRUP... Cell Persistent Children, and GRUP... Cell Temporary Children have all of the objects you have added to cells. I believe it is also all the vanilla objects you have moved.
