Oblivious_Fallout
No one ever answered the other guy, and I can't find it anywhere so I'm going to have to ask too... sorry... I use the Cutthroats Companion Mod and I have a house in the game... Is there anyway I can make it so they will travel between the cells in my house, when I have them wait, without me having to carry them through the doors? I want them to be able to freely move throughout the house when I tell them to stay there without me having to put them in certain rooms, any help? Vagrant0
Generally, no. Wander packages do not branch out from any cell other than the cell which is the location of the package. You can adjust for this by adding additional packages and features to the mod, but that is usually not a good idea when you're wanting to use someone else's mod. Oblivious_Fallout
What about if I give the characters a travel package and make the front door to the house not public, will that make it so they can't leave? or will giving them a travel package and limiting it to a certain distance allow them to travel between cells? David Brasher
If I were doing it, I would give them a whole bunch of AI packages with time schedules and conditions. They might wander in one particular room during certain hours of the day, and move to the next room during other hours. You would have to set it all up so it would not mess up the wait package used when in a dungeon or the wilderness. You might consider finding or constructing a house with one big cell, because depending on your skills, that might be easier.
Oblivious_Fallout
I'm going to try to take the cells I have and copy and paste them into one big cell... But then I don't know how to path grid exactly. Edit: Okay I combined all of the cells, but now I have no cell path grid in the entire part of the copied and pasted room... And every time I try to generate a path grid for the room my TES CS crashes.... Edit 2: Nevermind I got it, Its a little sloppy but it will work.
