shadowace
I will see about taking a look at this in a moment, I will edit this post with results. Edit: It works just like it said it would, the dragon flickers a little, and is transparent. I am not currently capable of going through and taking screenshots at the moment, but it does have the desired effect. You sure you got texture paths and whatnot correct? zprospero
I honestly have no idea what might be causing it. Would it help, alonso, if I were to send you my edited .nif file and texture, so you might compare them and see what might be different?
alonsomartinez
Yea that would be nice if you could send them. Im pretty sure I have everything right. I created a new folder for both meshes and textures and placed the textures in the folder and the mesh in the other both with identical names. Then I went into nifscope and applied the texture to the dragon and it looked clear/dark/transparent and then when i placed it in the cs it was white. alonsomartinez
I think I found the problem. When I edit the texture in gimp and save it all looks the same as the pictures from the tutorial but I went back and opened it and it was super bright and white and I dont know why this is happening.I did the same things as in the tutorial\.What type of compression is it supposed to be ? I used dxt1 .It has to be something in Gimp
zprospero
Well, I just tried it with that compression and it did give me problems. I used Dxt5. Try that.
