Natural Bodies.

the size of the window will always dictate how much more or less ram that it uses as the machine has to work more at higher resolutions (larger window equals larger/higher resolution). Other than that, adjusting the in-game gamma a little bit for better colors.

I think that they look better at the higher rez, larger window, but it could be just because I'm seeing them a little bit closer than I was before. But again... I dont like having my task bar and tray covered up. (especially when I'm playing before I have to go to class, and can glance down at the clock, lol.)

try it for a game or two. full screen mode, and play around with the settings you might like it, or maybe not ;)

Sorry about the necro but I am really quite confused! I have the .override in the "installed overrides" box in the mods tab of the mod manager. So I go into dragon age and .... the bodies are still just the regular stock bodies! Is there some secret to getting it to actually use the new bodies? I have no idea what to do :wallbash:

Well now I've got it half working, I think. I got the natural bodies all in one override and set the human female model to "seductress". There are no seductress legs to choose though, and since seductress is a rather thin model, it looks quite wrong with the much larger legs and hips that this tiny torso is situated upon. Is that just part of the model do you think? or are the NB legs overriding the seductress legs somehow?

thanks, by the way, I appreciate you taking the time to help me :)

No problem, I like to help out when I can :)

Ok, unfortunately, that body model is one that isnt in my version. It must have been released after I installed, and I havent had any need to update. I looked at the picture for this particular model and the legs in the pic seem to be pretty much the standard legs from what I can tell.

The legs themselves are actually part of the body mesh, all the way down to just below the knees. So when you are picking a body style, that bodystyle includes the torso, shoulders, arms (down to the forearms) hips, and legs (down to the lower calf). So basically, there really isnt any way that one could "bleed over" to another because the entire mesh is loaded, not just part by part. If that makes sense.

I guess a nontechnical way of me to put it is that your character is made up of 6 body parts. 1) the head 2) the main body 3) left hand 4) right hand 5) left foot 6)right foot. Since the legs are an actual part of #2... the only way that there would be different legs on it than the artist intended, would be if it accidentally loaded an entirely wrong body.

here, I'll show you a pic of what I'm talking about ;) See how the legs are all a part of the body?

lol looks kinda scary that way, neh?

basically, to fix this, you would need to contact the author of the body itself, not the author of naturalbodies all in one, and ask them to make a new mesh with thinner legs. :(

Alwyas glad to help out ;)

If you want to take a shot at 3d modeling, you'll need to start to learn about doing meshes, and uv mapping, and how to do textures.

blender from www.blender.org is a free 3d modeling program that a lot of people like. A sophisticated photoediting program like Adobe Photoshop for doing texture files, tho PS costs quite a lot to get. :(

And a lot of tutorials to read or watch videos of.

Its something that I've really wanted to get into for quite a while, but.... time and money, ya know? :(

Hey guys, I;m really stuck trying to get the natural bodies all in one override to work. I've no idea whatsoever on how to get it to work. I can get it into the "installed override" section in DAModmanager, but the config option is always unselectable. help!

I'm also having problems. I've got the *.override file showing in the bottom box of the modmanager in the Mods tab, but when I try to install it, it says it's already installed--but it's not showing up in the "Installed Overrides" tab at the top. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Thanks!

AkB00m- I'm hoping that another user that I contacted can assist you with your issue. Because I am not quite sure what the problem would be for you, other than perhaps you've got it installed incorrectly.

Wynter- your problem is Definitely that you've got it installed incorrectly. In the modmanager portion of it, remove the mod. You dont want it installed as a mod. Thats got a conflict going when trying to install it as an override. As it already sees it in the folders. Uninstall the mod, and then drag and drop the .override file into the OVERIDE window portion of modmanager.
