TheAc30fSpades
Hey guys, I'm new to the PC gaming world and I guess I chose a different, low-populated path. I have a MacBook with Snow Leopard. Sorry if there is an obvious answer, but I've been searching and have had no luck with it. Hopefully you guys can help. I recently got Fallout 3 for my Macintosh. I have it for the 360, and I've see all of these incredible mods on YouTube (For example, the Cube Experimental O.o). I was wondering how you can put these mods into effect and what kind of program I can use to run these mods on (If there is one, again I apologize, I am new to the whole PC Gaming [Or in this case PC Modding]). You do not have to simplify things too much, I am pretty computer savvy. Thank you very much for considering to help! ~~AC3~~
jaysus
you need no program to run the mods, you just put them into your installation directory, the folder structure should be the same as on a pc...in your fallout folder is a directory called DATA wich is where a mods content belongs... usually in a mod you have files like modA.esp (goes to fallout3\data\) a folder like MESHES (goes to Fallout3\data] and so on...you then simply activate the modA.esp in your fallout launcher... however due to the nature of modern macsies (weak intel cpus and even weaker gfx cards) i doubt that it will run in a descent manner but a pictureshow... TheAc30fSpades
Okay, thanks! Really helps! And I know what you mean about the Macs -.- At least they barely get viruses :P I'm probably gonna end up just getting it for my PC instead of going through all this trouble finding a fallout 3 for mac that works. But again, thanks for your time and cool signature!
