Silvist
Heyo everyone, I'm looking for help on converting this nif file to a usable msh, and model in dragon age. I'm still new to doing modding, but I have access to 3ds max 2010, blenders, and all other conversion tools. My biggest problem is I don't have the knowledge of how to successfully make a new msh, mao, mmh, and linked dds files. I know how to convert a nif with nifscope to an obj file, import to either blender or 3ds max. Create a fbx file; then with tapazins, make a mao msh, and mmh file. I've tried to use i/otools in blender to replace an existing mesh in order to make a new one. From all the tests I tried the file would just come out as that same model with a different mesh. I know how to edit mao files to reflect dds file names. So I either need someone to do most of the hard work, which is probably making the fbx file usable to convert properly into a msh file. Or some info on exactly how to do it in non complex terms lol. I'm by no means a programmer, just a fan interested in trying to figure out modding .
