Balakirev Posted February 4, 2010 Share Posted February 4, 2010 When my new level 1 character casts a summons spell, she gets 2 of whatever she requested. When one goes away, she can cast a second spell, and have two skeletons at the same time, again. I've seen this with enemies, as well, when I was in the first dungeon. I know that's an option in Supreme Magick, but I've got it turned off except for conjuration masters: all others get 1 summons at a time. I've also tried disabling conjuring in SM's INI file, but that didn't stop the problem, so it's not related to that mod. BOSS found no problems. I could unleash 2 skeleton Heroes, 2 cheese atronarchs, 2 melon atronarchs, 2 pumpkin atronarchs and 2 Headless Zombies on Heironymous Lex the next time he gets mouthy... that'd hurt. ;) (gotta love Bash's more than one summon feature. :D ) But seriously, the only time I've seen this kinda effect was when I was running CM partners essential and none essential versions together. (I know, I'm a muppet) I'd start by checking out the magic mods you know you have installed. Do you have 2 version of any of them running? Its common enough to have an OOO and a non-OOO version of the same mod bundled together, for example. Sorry, but that wall of text you call a load order made my eyes bleed so I might have overlooked one... or several. I've never printed mine but I bet it looks pretty much the same, if not worse, so thats not an attack. I love my mods too. heh heh.If that doesn't explain it try rebuilding your bashed patch without the magica plug ins. Don't deactivate them. Just don't include them in the Bash.If still no luck, I recon it'd be the tried and tested (though highly tedious) method of uninstalling one at a time, making a clean save, and trying again that'd be the way to go. I know its a ballache, though if it helps, start with the ones that you know directly only affect magic first, and I bet you'd find it pretty quick. Then I reload the game and try to duplicate the error. Just don't save and it won't mess anything up. Often you can find any problematic mod in this fashion and then load it up in TES4EDIT and see what it's doing. It could be something isn't lining up right in a script. Often you can find any problematic mod in this fashion and then load it up in TES4EDIT and see what it's doing. It could be something isn't lining up right in a script. I ended up doing the thing I least enjoy: unchecking all my 217 mods (Wrye made it easy) and adding them back in slooowly. Eventually I found the culprit: Varied Spell Sounds for Supreme Magicka. I was supposed to remove the SM main ESP and rename VSS-SM to it, but didn't, because it was plain SM's main ESP did more than just VSS-SM's replacement. I forgot to remove VSS-SM from the subdirectory, though, and along the line recently it got checked when rebuilding my Bashed Patch. So its conjuration sound was conflicting with SM's, forcing the spell to trigger twice for a sound to "take." Funny how such a lengthy, involved mess could happen from something so simple.
