insydr
For people with stuttering gameplay due to an onboard soundcard This applies to you if your framerate is decent until you get into a fight (when it proceeds to drop like a rock and stutter like mad until it's over) and you have an onboard audio card. If you want to make sure this will help you, go to your Oblivion.ini and change these lines: bMusicEnabled=1bSoundEnabled=1 to: bMusicEnabled=0bSoundEnabled=0 Or just disable your audio device through the device manager. Obviously this isn't a good solution since it wipes out sounds completely, BUT if this fixes your framerate in battles, then the solution is easy: your onboard audio blows! Either get a dedicated sound card, or do what I did - plug in a USB soundcard. I got one for like 40 bucks from Creative's website (http://us.creative.com/products/product.as...207&product=154). No more stuttering. Reenable all your sound and music and enjoy! :D
