Oblivious_Fallout
Why is it that when I combine two mods, to make my own, It won't allow me to use that mod in OBSE... it will only allow me to use it without it... I'm confused, how can I fix this problem....
Jenrai
You need to have script extender running when you're combining the mods mate. Not doing so will truncate the scripts and probably break the mods you're merging as without obse the scripts can only be about half as long. The Construction Set, from what I understand, can't read or write longer scripts without OBSE running, anymore than the game can. Jenrai
Oblivious_Fallout
So do I open the Construction set with a different file path, such as OBSE Editor?
Jenrai
Scripts written with these new commands must be written via the TESConstructionSet launched with obse_loader. Open a command prompt window, navigate to your oblivion install folder, and type "obse_loader -editor". The normal editor can open plugins with these extended scripts fine, it just can't recompile them and it will give errors if you try. From the Construction Set WIKI, located here If you don't use it, start mate. Its a brilliant resource. :) Jenrai
