nissenissen
Hello hello! :) Is there any way to increase the mouse cursor speed while browsing inventory / menu / trading? The mouse sensitivity you can adjust in game options is only affecting the mouselook speed.I know I had this problem in a couple games before, when you pump up the resolution the mouse speed is decreased, and Im running at 1900x something. Was hoping I dont have to go down to 800x600 just to get a descent mouse pointer speed while browsing inventory, doing trades and such. Was taking a look in the oblivion.ini too, but couldnt find anywhere to increase it. Been looking all over the net for a solution and also searched the huge mod index here on the site for "mouse", "cursor", "inventory"-mods, but none that seemed to aim at this problem.I have my mouse sensitivity set to max in windows btw, but it doesnt affect the slow mouse speed either ingame. And no, its not a lag problem either. Game running very smooth and nice on everything maxed.Would be great if anyone had a solution to this. Im sure this must be a pretty wide spread problem, and Im hoping its just me, who kinda missed the huuuge "fix slow mouse pointer"-button somewhere on the site :P
Lennalf
I resolved this problem by turning off V-sync. You can do this in the out-of-game options menu.
vatovato76
Im also looking for a fix to this but turning off v-sync didnt work for me. 5 years later, does anyone know of a way to increase cursor speed?
Elusivr
And still no answer... that's annoying and this issue probably doesn't have a solution since most people are used to slow mouse speed.
omegafortytwo
My solution was to turn down the resolution... At high resolution on a 4k machine, the mouse was laggy as s#*! in the menus. Turned it back down to 2006 level resolution (something like 1024x860) and the mouse is no longer laggy. I'm guessing this has something to do with the movement for the mouse being set to move a certain number of pixels as opposed to a certain distance across the screen. Old software, old problems.
