Mesh/Texture Issues

So I downloaded Wikinger9048's Medieval Resources Mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/20877/?) and have been going through all the awesome meshes and placing them in-game via the construction set and a personal esp. One particular mesh, which in the resources has the path: \Data\meshes\armor\Medieval\Helme\Topfhelmeteutonic stuck out to me as a cool helmet that I would want to use. I opened it up in NifSkope, and everything seemed to be in order (no textures seemed to be missing, looked cool, etc.).

I inserted it into the game, but when I equipped it I only got a quick glimpse of the yellow leather hood beneath the steel textures (none of the actual helmet textures appeared) before my game CTDed. Is this a texture path issue? Does anyone know how I could fix this and be able to use it in-game? Any help is appreciated.

I have Wikinger's resources on my PC and have made custom items from it. Some meshes are problematic because they are not in a finished state....and glitch as a result, this may be one of them. There are also meshes in the package for which there are missing textures. I'll take a look at that particular helm and see if I can identify the problem.
