The "Better" combat series

I remember reading the descriptions of this excellent series--Better Magic, Better Archery, etc--a few weeks back, and really liking the details of it, but it appears the modder has withdrawn access to some of it, and removed the rest. Does anyone know if he/she plans to put up a new version? And if not, can someone provide me with the modder's handle so I can contact them, and see what their plans are for this? Thanks.

It was created by a modder who went by the name Selea. Due to various reasons, he was banned for hostile conduct toward another modder who was doing similar work and toward myself for trying to calm the issue. His mods were removed from the site as per his request. He later uploaded Better Magic, but was banned again afterward due to ignoring the rules of the site. I had had managed to work out most of the dispute between these two modders, and had researched the matter thoroughly, but was unable to give any formal report on the matter as Selea hasn't responded in the last few weeks and the related mod has already made enough significant changes to other aspects to diminish any suggestion of any similarity. He might have uploaded over at the official site or some other mod site, but can't tell you much else. Although the technical aspects of this incident are resolved, the case remains open.

Not really a recommendation, just an alternative.

 

It's at least a thorough reworking of the system. I know of one other, now, so two are around, and both look quite good. I suspect others will appear over time.
