Cannot "disable" certain objects via console

I´m trying to remove certain furniture (a chair and a desk in Rosethorn Hall, to be specific) from the gameworld without messing with some .esp

 

The console command "disable" does not work on them, for reasons unknown to me (I guess it only affects vanilla-furniture, not something placed by a mod etc.).

 

Any ideas?

Console commands do not always work.

 

It may sound difficult, but I suggest that you use the CS to make a very simple mod in which you delete a couple pieces of furniture. There are lots of tutorials available, and the people on the forums here are good at answering highly specific questions.
