Jahmir0
Hi there! If you have never installed an Oblivion mod before you should probably read this: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View...etail&id=60 or this: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index...livion_Mods_FAQ or better yet read both :P If you have used mods before, could you be more specific about what you don´t understand about installing Elsweyr? Cheers
Jenrai
Bben's installing guides in the articles section of the Nexus are better, Jahmir. ;) And hilda, if you've never played with a mod/installed before, seriously - don't start with Elsweyr. Its a huge, huge mod, that's very very well made, I hasten to add, but it will be difficult if you're new to modding simply because of the size and complexity of the mod. Start with something smaller, that you can check is working easily enough, like odd weapons and suits of armor, and practice installing / uninstalling those first. hildaguarde45743675
alright, thanks for the reads, i have installed mods before, many for about all hundred of my Computer games. for some reason, i cant get this one. Specifically, it says to "Download and unpack the files into your oblivion data folder. now, to my knowledge, i did that. three or four frikan' times.but i never saw the ElsweyrAnequina.esp that i was supposed to. so, where do i unpack the files to? what do i need to unpack? whats the name of the file(s) that i need to unpack, and where do i put it? thanks for the help. Jahmir0
Bben's installing guides in the articles section of the Nexus are better, Jahmir. Hehe..didn´t know about those Jenrai. Thanks ;) hildaguarde45743675 I agree with Jenrai about it being better to start with smaller mods but if you really want this one lets take a look. First off, create a new folder on your desktop and unpack the files there. There should be at least 3 and you should unpack them in this order and click yes to overwrite if asked to do so: -ElsweyrAnequinaPart1of3 -ElsweyrAnequinaPart2of3 -ElsweyrAnequinaPart3of3 These are the 3 files that you absolutely must download in order to play this mod, there are others but they are optional. Now you will have 3 folders naned the same as the archives you downloaded(i think), each of them should have a folder named "Data" inside, move each of the data folders into the Oblivion directory(in my case it would be C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion) in the same order as before and you´ll get a message saying there already is a folder with the same name there and asking if you want to overwrite files or something like that, click yes. From what i can see the readme for the new version of elsweyr is a bit out of date since now you can´t simply extract everything directly to the data folder. Then you only have to activate the ElsweyrAnequina.esp either in the Oblivion launcher or in OBMM or Wyre Bash if you have them. And that should do it :)Oh and you also have to open the Oblivion.ini file and change "bBorderRegionsEnabled=1" to "bBorderRegionsEnabled=0" Hope that helps
