Bernt
I've posted this on another site as well, but maybe this is the right place, as it is for gamers and not general Win. 7.I've been through a lot of trouble getting FO3 running on Win 7. UAC, permission here, permission there etc.It runs now, patched to 1.7. GFWL updated. But the "texture, meshes, sound etc." folders, install as .bsa files. Which means that any mod that manipulates any graphics and sounds simply doesn't work. Can't find the original game files in FOMM. FOMM does install FOMODS, but they don't work.simple .esp mods work fine though. The game was running OK on Win Vista Ult. 64 bit.My rig : Intel Q9300, 4G ram, GeForce 8800GT. Win 7 home premium 64bit.Any ideas?

Use "toggle invalidation" button. Oh and... DON'T mess with Fallout bsa files
Bernt
Don't know why I missed it. I've played it so much with 100+ mods working perfectly. Sometimes it seems you need a little kick to get your mind in gear. Thanks for the kick  By the way, I don't use the Archive. toggle in FOMM. I've downloaded the Arch. Inv. utility. That program is a lttle gem. But I guess it's a matter of personal preference.
