VolTKruegeR Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Does anybody know if choosing a skill for you MAJOR would make it increase faster or does that only depend on the specialisation in a certain school. For instance if one would choose MAGIC as is specialisation and chooses Combat and Stealth skills as his major, would he gain skill levels in MAGIC  school at a faster pace than for COMBAT >:( and STEALTH  , given all three types of skill are used the equal amount. The main question is does picking a skill for you major make it increase in level faster or the only benifit is that you get a PLUS 25 to begin with. Thanks much
Loud Abnoxious Sigh Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 I don't think skill specialization has anything to do with how fast you level a certain skill. I believe that all the skills level up at the same pace.
VolTKruegeR Posted April 9, 2006 Author Posted April 9, 2006 if you choose a specialization you can read on the top that you get a +10 and these skills would increase faster.
Loud Abnoxious Sigh Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 if you choose a specialization you can read on the top that you get a +10 and these skills would increase faster. So why did you ask the question?
edstamos1 Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 they may very well increase faster, however, skills at lower levels also increase faster, and since your minor skills start out lower, they'll increase faster if you use them just as much. (eg, a lvl 5 alteration skill can be raised a level by casting a single shield spell)
