I don't remember how to manually install. I have daomodmanager but i can't click and drag to the manager. I put the files in the Data folder but when i start a new character the hair isn't there. Is there something more specific im supposed to be doing? There isn't a readme file or anything with it. :(

yeah i read that and it doesn't help me. I have better bodies running via the DAO manager but the hair mod is manual only. I put the files (dragged) them into the data files and they are in there only they arn't showing up.

oh i read the instal instructions on the page for this download and it says you can either drag and drop it into the manager (which i don't know how because everything i try it says such n such is not an override/dazip) or extract it to My Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\Packages\Core\Override which still does not work when i go to the creation screen. I don't know what i'm doing wrong.

ahhhhhhh dangit, I owe you a massive apology! I misunderstood the nature of the problem that you are having! I am SOOOO sorry!

I thought that you were having issues with it actually installing. The problem you're having is getting them to show up.

Ok, what the problem most likely is, is that you're using another mod, which is incompatible, such as PT's vibrant colors, BD hairs, glowing warden eyes, any mod which can add things to the player creation screen.

all of these types of mods use a file called Chargen (character generation). when you install multiples of these types of files, the game only reads ONE of the chargen files, not ALL of them. So what you need to do, is download a compatibility file, which lists ALL the mods that you're using that use this file. basically it wraps them all up into one chargen file.

then, after getting the compatibility file, you have have windows search your override folder, and DELETE every instance of chargen that is in there, that you find. After doing that, you drop the new compatibility file into your override folder, and all of them should show up after that.

I did a search, and will post it for you, but didnt know which conflicting mods you are using, so I cant tell you exactly which one you will need. Check the version numbers of your mods, and look for those numbers in the descriptions of the compatibility files.

Again, I am REALLY sorry, I misunderstood your problem!

hmmmm. better bodies shouldnt cause a conflict with the hair mod.

i'd recommend doing a search thru your override folder to see if the chargen file is there, and replace it. if its not there, then you would need to extract it from the zip file into your override folder.

Oh, and if thats the only mod you're using, I might recommend this one- http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=44

gets rid of the nasty yellow teeth. Greatly improves those scenes where you are talking to other people ;)

doesnt require any work, just drag and drop ;)

good luck :)
