Palpenious
I believe technically it's not allowed. Falls in the category of copying other game files. If you want something from a Morrowind mod, that can be requested. As can original, re-creations of Morrowind models (I made some rings from MW a while back from scratch). Out of curiosity, what were you looking to use in Oblivion?
bben46
Bethesda has decreed that using any assets from Morrowind, or any of their other games in any other game, including their own, is against their terms and conditions and will be prosecuted. So far, they have accepted removing the mod and as far as I know have not actually prosecuted anyone over this. Our policy is to not allow any ripped meshes from any game - including any other Bethesda game, unless you can show documentation that the maker allows that use. If you use an asset from one of the Bethesda DLCs, your mod MUST require that DLC to be loaded. Even if that DLC is for the same game.Bben46, Moderator
theyoster1
I am making fallout for the oblivion engine. I looked throuth the morrowind items list and found some of the meshes looked like they might be usefull so tried to use the .nifs from the morrowind .bsa and the thing came up as a large yellow ! mark. if you could make some of the old morrowing files that would be great though! XD. but thanks for your help!
Palpenious
You should probably post in the requests thread and be a little more specific. Are you looking for plants/rocks, weapons, barrels, etc. Since they would need to be made from the ground up, if you're talking major overhaul project (which is how it sounds) you're probably better off getting at least some experience modeling yourself until you can get one or two people to help. Good luck though! :D

XJDHDR
You may have heard of the tool Morroblivion. I think that you can safely use that to convert the meshes and textures in Morrowind mods into Oblivion meshes and textures. I recommend that you don't bring up Morroblivion on the official forums though since Bethesda made a scene about it a while ago which resulted in it getting banned from being distributed on many mod sites (including TESNexus) and discussion about it is not allowed on said forums. However, if you only use Morroblivion to convert resources in a mod, there shouldn't be any legal issues.
