Romanader
I'm use to Oblivion, but the directory locations are way different. Where exactly do I put mods that have DAZIP files? I'm running 64 bit Windows 7, what mod manager should I use and how do I install it?
DarkeWolf
http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=286DAmodder is probably the best all around mod installer IMO. it handles .dazip and .zip files. once you open modder, all you have to do is drag and drop the .dazip or .zip folder into modder and it does all the work for you. all you have to do is confirm that you want to install the mod.it can uninstall mods also, as well as create backups of your saved games, mods installed, and a few other things. IF while you are DLing mods you get some that are .7z, .rar, or whatever, you'll have to convert them to zip first before dropping them into the modder tho :( also, you may want to run damodder in compatibility mode. (right click on the .exe file for it then properties, then compatibility tab. thats how to do it in vista/xp dunno if they changed it in win7). as the 64bit version of windows seems to give mysql errors. have fun!
