449
Hi I'm having a rather odd problem. When I load Oblivion through obse_loader the framerate is capped 30fps. When I press tab to bring up the menu the cap is removed. Basically when I'm running around the cap is in place. This cap does not happen when I load Oblivion from oblivion.exe. If someone could help me with this issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
XJDHDR
Are you using Oblivion Stutter Remover by any chance?

XJDHDR
Well then that is the reason your FPS is capped at 30 FPS. OSR detects when your FPS is going to rise above a certain number (30 by default) and when that happens, OSR does some things to the game which allows background tasks some time to use the CPU. This is supposed to improve stability. Anyway, if you don't want your FPS to be capped at 30, you can modify OSR's INI file to either change it's cap or turn it off altogether.
