Door to Shivering Isles won't appear !

I tried to type "setstage SE01door 10" into the console but there was just an error announcement.

I deinstalled Oblivion , than deleted the data folder and installed it again ,but now it won't work and the npc and me have a purple and black skin with no eyes. ..

 

Please help me!

Is Shivering Isles actually installed? and active?

Do you have the latest patch?

 

If you deleted the data folder, where did you get the original data from? a backup? a reinstall?

The .bsa files are absolutely required, the game will not work properly without them. That's where the vanilla textures and meshes come from.

 

If you have deleted your .bsa files from the data folder, you will have to reinstall the game.
