Doors & Teleport marker Q?.

I ran into a small issue with the roof top mod I worked with. Using Doors and ref markers.

 

On the roof, I had a marker to go down inside the megaton house (exit). And then 2 doors to get back on the roof. A ladder right beside the door. And a second hatch inside the house.

 

I had problems linking 2 doors to 1 reference marker. I first linked the inside hatch to the roof top, upon trying to link the ladder to the roof top using the same marker.. the target for selecting the marker would always remain red. Why?

 

I had to add a second hidden marker to link to the ladder. Is this normal, or can I link 2 doors to 1 marker another way? I apologise if this is confusing.

 

Any tips would be great.

By reference marker are you talking about the yellow box with the arrow that links the doors together?

You can only link one door to one door. An easy workaround is to just make a second door, move it underground or something and then put it's marker in the same place as the first.

Yes, that's what I meant. That's the work-around I had to use, I was wanting to know if I had to use the work around, or if I was doing something wrong that I couldn't link 2 doors to 1 yellow teleport marker.
