clintmich Posted February 16, 2010 Share Posted February 16, 2010 Somebody please help!!! My CS keeps crashing as soon as I try to enter a dialogue for an NPC. Im using Vista, but I've changed the compatibility to XP already,and must have uninstalled and re-installed about 10 times. Help if you can!!! thanks! clintmich Posted March 5, 2010 Author Share Posted March 5, 2010 SOLVED===== Ok well I thought I'd tried everything to stop this crash problem. I went on a hunt for some answers. And found the cure!!!!!!!!! PLUG IN A MICROPHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After plugging in a microphone my CS works like a dream. NO crashing!! Apparently when using vista/7 the construction set looks for some sort of code or something that is embedded in a microphone.And when it cant find it,it crashes.
