galraen Posted March 14, 2010 Share Posted March 14, 2010 When you install the either Francesco's Leveled Creatures-Items Mod or the addon it asks you if you want to register the BSA's in the game ini file. I can't remember which one it is without running the exe, but I'm sure it's the addon. The installer for the latest version 4.5b, multi-language on this site doesn't give the above option. I've tried installing several times and had given up due to the instant crashes. I searched this forum in desperation, this bug needs to be addressed ASAP, god knows how many people have tried to install the mod and have simply given up. galraen Posted March 14, 2010 Share Posted March 14, 2010 Actualy it's even worse than that, it doesn't even install the FraNewItems.bsa or FraNewCrea.bsa So I guess it's back to OOO, a shame because when I was playing before I preferred Fran. galraen Posted March 14, 2010 Share Posted March 14, 2010 I think I've sussed where the problem is, and it's with Nexus, who don't have the correct file available, they only have a truncated, 39MB file for download instead of the full 536MB download, which I'm now downloading from File Planet. PS Also realised why I started having trouble in the first place. I used the search function for Francesco, which just takes you to the files, so I missed the main page, and you have to scroll all the way to the bottom to find out that you have to go elsewhere to get the main file. IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE THE OPTIONAL NEW THIRD PARTY WEAPONS AND ARMORS PART OF THE MOD YOU HAVE TO ALSO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE 343Mb ADD-ON, LOCATED AT PES, LINK ON THE RIGHT IN THE MIRRORS SECTION ----->UNFORTUNATELY THAT FILE IS TOO BIG AND CAN'T BE HOSTED HERE, SO PLEASE USE THAT LINK. Is the first thing you see. Its the short description of the multi-language link, and the first lines of the long description on the files tab.It also states that you'll need this file about... ohhh... six times during the installation of Frans. And at least 4 on the home page. Seriously matey, pay attention to what you're doing when you're doing it. And if you can't be bothered, don't blame others for that.
