Do you recognise these mod clothes? ......

Thank you guys

If any of you guys are clothes artists here let it be known there is a demand for non-skimpy, non-sexy female clothes

Odd statement considering that in your photo, the grey outfit is pretty skimpy as the back is completely open and braless and shows the ass-crack somewhat while the black topjust covers the area above and slightly below the breasts.

If that's not skimpy to you, what exactly is skimpy to you? ;)

Does anyone recognise her hair too?

I found the clothes mod (although still trying to find the outer shirt in the shop) but I'm having another problem too besides the hair

I can't seem to remove the default undergarments so the t-shirt meshes into it - do I need another mod for this like Type 3 Body Replacer?

Thanks again for all your help by the way guys! :)

Girl modder > It'd be nice to see what clothes you have for girls on here?

Also do you know why the default undergarments are awkwardly blending into the clothes I'm trying or covering over them completely in most cases?

In my picture you can see that wasn't an issue so I'm guessing I must have been using some other mod that stopped that

Do I need a mod that makes the female body nude by default before I can start wearing modded clothes unimpeded by textural problems?

Thanks for your help :)

PS.. Dangman4ever > The clothes she's wearing here aren't really skimpy - I did want her to look good/sexy but not in a slutty way and that is really what I meant. I just find it unrealistic for a character to be surviving an apocalyptic wasteland in bikinis and fishnets etc... Plus I feel the sense of fashion gives me character a degree of cool-ness, if u know what I mean

But basically those clothes were among the least revealing I could find even in that shop mod.

I loved that character cus of how she looked. She has the Casca mod face preset so she's very pretty and now I'm looking to sort the mesh issue out and locate whatever mod I must have been using to make her hair look like that instead of the 'Wendy The Welder' default I always went with instead.

You DO need a female body replacer, I do not know which one as I do not use the mod (I assume Type 3.). It might require her to be nude but I again do not have the mod so I do not know, it should state what you need. Most the time it just requires you to have Type 3 installed and you can use the underwear version.

Should be a installing instruction on the Type 3 FNV body, that will fix the odd textures.

Hair looks like Lings or Mikoto, just do a search for Hair and it should come up.

For my mods just click my user name Nivea (girl modder is just my title, not my user name. Like Newbie is not your user name but your title), then my nexus profile. You can sort it to show FNV stuff only.

Thanks I've managed to find the hair (or one enough like it) but have just one major obstacle left. :-(

I've spent all day now trying out all the different Type3 body replacers out there. Even tried the skinny6 one - but it does seem to be a problem still.

For one thing each of the two items of clothes comes in 7 different sizes in the shop - BB, D, H, Alice, BB Curved, BB Gifted and BB Giant

For each replacer mod I tried out I tried every combination of the 2 clothes in 7 sizes and yet STILL I can't get it like the picture - I always end up with a bit of the shirt meshing through or breasts or sometimes the jean suit goes under the t-shirt.

It's a nightmare.

Im going to have a crack at it again tomorrow - I've absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong. It's been around 4 years since I did this the first time so whichever replacer mod was used isn't a new one at all.

But now that I've spent so much time on this I'm not prepared to give up because I've got her looking so much like the original but just can't find a way to make the 2 clothing items fit without textures crossing over

What does type3 even mean then, given that there are these 7 sizes of clothes. If you're familiar with these clothes size names which size do you think I've used in the original picture?

I would guess Alice or BB as they tend to be the smallest. Or perhaps D but Giant, Gifted and Curved are most definitely NOT what I used nor do I want to use them.

Frankly though if I can avoid the meshing problem I no longer care if her breasts end up insanely big.

She looks so good in the pic and it totally ruins it when the jean suit doesn't just fit over the shirt like it's supposed to.

Why do I need a body replacer anyway? The weird thing is that when I put just the shirt on it meshes with the default undershirt, but adding the jeansuit on top fixes that anyway. So Im not sure I need a nude replacer to begin with. And I really don't know what all these replacers do differently - the only thing I notice are the clothes sizes

Sorry for long post I'm just so close now I'm desperate lol. Whether you can help or not thanks anyways for the help so far! :)

I wish I knew more about this stuff but im just clueless :-(

Why it is named Type 3 I do not know, It was made when FO3 was new and I was not into these kind of games at that point. Its just the name the mod maker uses. Body replacers are made to replace vanilla bodies with higher res, higher quality bodies. This is why modders normally use because its easier to make higher quality stuff and rigging is easier.

Type 3 has MANY variations out there, some smaller some larger breast ect. This is why its sometimes hard to make clothing that go over the body rather then replace the body, you end up with clipping.

Type D, H, Alice, ect. Are all variations of Type 3, so they will not actually fit Type 3 body. I assume that BB is Bouncing Breast version.

You can find almost all versions in this mod, if you do not like the textures you can just use the default Type 3 ones:

http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34702/?

Bouncing ones:

http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35047/?

Original FO3 mod, that has some of the variations it will work in FNV.

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/4280/?

You picked a much more involved armor mod to install, normally none of this is a problem with most clothing mods.

Thanks ye I was looking at Dimonizer - it is one of the replacers I'm yet to try and was thinking maybe it would help because one of the clothing sizes is called 'Alice' and according to the info of this mod the author is the one who originally created Alice in FO3

So perhaps ill have better luck if I use the Dimonizer replacer and select Alice sizes for both garments?

As for BOG I have tried a couple of the options like the D cup and H cup options but not the others yet - they have different names than the sizes in this mod boutique.

It seems perhaps the modder who made this shop should have labelled the sizes by the most common names for those Types.

Alice also seems to be the smallest breasts which is more realistic and thus, for me, preferable. I'm hoping this will work. Perhaps Ill try this one tonight after dinner.

The 'clipping' you mention is what I need to avoid. That's all I really care about.

As for picking bad clothes options, it's more like they chose me lol. I find it hard to find a nice look for my female characters and these two particular items go very well together when there's no clipping.

I can also add the belly-chain item and it looks really cool.

Thanks again nivea

Ill let you know how I get on with Dimonized replacer and the Alice sized clothes.

OK I downloaded the Dimonized one but I'm not sure I installed it correctly.

The face preset for 'Alice' came up but once I selected it I didn't have the hair and eyes mod options, only the defaults.

Plus the clipping still happened when trying on the 'Alice' clothes.

So I think maybe all I did was install a face preset to be honest - the file is tricky because it's not an ESP and I can't just DL and install it with NMM

It's basically a fallout 3 mod so I tried to follow the instructions but it seems all I got was his Alice face preset

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I'm not sure how to tell if it's type 3 in-game or not so even if I could install it properly I wouldn't really know.

Should I focus tomorrow on the other BOG types I haven't tried yet?

Lol gosh this is hard

EDIT: Btw the options for the BOG replacer mod are attached so you can see what I mean....
