I was gonna pm the creator of armored masks and ask if I could use one of his masks for a special enchantment. I lost it, but I made a mod once that gives you a mask with basically the same power as the gray cowl, only it didn't automatically jump to 100 infamy or whatever. Essentially the mask was an alternate identity. It could be used two ways; If you originally had a lot of infamy and a bounty, you put the mask on and basically, you're someone else, so you don't have a bounty or high infamy, unless you remove the mask. Or you could put on the mask, commit a bunch of crimes and remove the mask and return to your previous state. But the mask still would have a bounty if you put it on again. It's like having two characters at once. Excellent for roleplaying bandits, murdurers, and anyone who just wants to wear a disguise that works.
