Bethsoft support isn't paid to know about user created mods, and due to how they have no control over mod content tend to assume that ALL user created mods are bad. It's one of those legal things, and they have to deny all responsibility of problems if anything unofficial is present. Using mods on this site should not, in itself, cause any problems, and shouldn't prevent the base game from working (when installed properly). What this means is that while normal and proper usage of mods is safe and shouldn't prevent the game from working, abnormal or improper usage will often create many problems. The trick is to learn how to do it right from the start and pay attention to exactly what it is you are installing and activating. I'm not entirely sure what your issue is, so will leave that to someone else, however it would probably help to know a bit more about what the problem is exactly. What mods do you have installed? Do you know what a Load Order is? If so, can you post your current load order (as it appears in FOMM)? Where is the save coming from? what mods were present when the save was made? Have you patched your game? Is the save from the same game version that you are patched to? What happens when you try to make a new save with the mods you have currently loaded? What happens when you try to load that new save? Are you using Windows7 or Vista? Do you have admin rights? Did you install the game in the default folder? It may seem like alot, but answering all of these questions will help you get a solid answer as to what the problem is and how to fix it so you can enjoy those mods.
