Xantesh
Hi! I got a problem with Oblivion. I just wanted to reinstall everything, so I installed oblivion + shivering isles + patch. Everything worked fine. Then I added some mods.If I now travel f.e. to any IC district the game doesn't respond anymore, but sometimes it doesn't. But if I do anything then, like opening/closing my inventory, it crashes. List of active mods: Oblivion.esmCobl Main.esmEnhancedWeather.esmblacktempler+HT.espRAEVWD Cities.espHrmnsOblivionScriptOptimizationv1.0.espRAEVWD Imperial City.espDLCShiveringIsles.espColourwheels Sexy Female NPCs.esp[Hwii]Lancer_Dread.espBP.espPEDress.espColourwheels Sexy Stock Armor & Clothing Replacer.espTona's_ModsStore.espCuteElf11.espColourwheels Sexy Imperial Legion.espEnhancedWeather.espCobl Glue.espCobl Si.espCobl Tweaks.espCobl Silent Equip Misc.espP1DkeyChain.espNatural_Vegetation_by_Max_Tael.espNatural_Water_by_Max_Tael.espNatural_Habitat_by_Max_Tael.espRenGuardOverhaul.espRenGuardOverhaulShiveringIsles.espEnhanced Water v2.0 HD.esp I do also have Qarls Texture Pack, some LOD textures, IFT, Danis Beauty Faces etc. I do not know why it's crashing... it worked fine with my old Oblivion... I hope that someone is able to help me.
XJDHDR
I hope you only installed those mods a few at a time then tested stability as opposed to installing all those mods at once. Anyway, try uninstalling every mod you have and see if you still have problems. If the problem disappears, re-enable your mods a few at a time until the game gives problems again. Once tat happens, you will have found the mod that is causing problems. You can also check out the website in my signature. I also recommend that you install the Unofficial Oblivion and Shivering Isles patches (there are links to those in the website I just mentioned). bben46
If you uninstalled properly - using the uninstall included with the DVD, it still leaves parts behind in the registry. If you reinstall back in the same place that doesn't matter as they will still point to the proper location. If you reinstall in a different location, or did not use the uninstall, sometimes those registry entries don't get the word and still look for stuff in the wrong place. Hopefully it won't come to another reinstall, but if it does:Here is a link to my complete uninstall/reinstall procedure located in the articles section of the Nexushttp://www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=
