Creating a New Sword

So I have an Arcane Warrior decked out in Grey Warden Runic Armor. I have used WinterForge to craft myself a matching sheild, but for the sword I had a specific design in mind. I wanted the exact look of Maric's blade. WinterForge has the copy appearance capability, but no support for Premium Content [therefore leaving out maric's blade]. I've delved into the toolset, but I'm stuck. I'm used to the Morrowind/Oblivion construction sets, so this one is a whole new creature. On those, that would be the simplest of tasks, but I find myself lost.

 

Help would be appreciated.

Ok, I dont know if these will work for you or not.

IF you've got the DLC that contains Maric's blade, its listed under global/Weapons,Melee/Longswords/Unique/ gen_im_wep_mel_lsw_mar (king maric's blade)

I found it doing a search for "mar" w/out quotes.

 

If you don't have the content, try this, from the console.... runscript zz_starmetal_sword

http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Console the onehanded star sword is the EXACT model they used for Maric's blade (and ugly as sin, IMO) tho with different properties. I dont have winter forge, so I dont know if it can copy that or not.

 

the game lists maric's blade as being red steel, this is however, WRONG, as in the books it was made from dragonbone. (but in the booksm, dragonbone was WHITE, not Brown, like it is in the game) tho you may want to make it as silverite unless you want a hefty strength requirement on it, and dont want it turning brown. (Unless forge can make it look like silverite or starmetal).

 

it has the following properties- longsword, one handed

0.75 health regen in combat

weakens nearby darkspawn

0.75 stamina regen in combat

+6 damage to darkspawn.

comment on it is " Rumored to have been found by Cailen's father in the Deep Roads, this Dwarven blade was famously wielded during the Orlesian occupation of Ferelden. A small inscription on the hilt reads "Katriel" but it's meaning is unknown."

 

I tried finding the starfangs in the toolset, but had absolutely no luck there.
