Mod Clothing Lag

Hi ,

 

I finnaly decided to start mod game i got litle bored with small range of clothes and armors in normal game.

Now i have the problem i noticed most of mods for clothes and armors lag like hell even to the point of PC freeze normaly i play game on medium settings with no lag at all i could even raise it to high but felll that higher resolution somehow makes character smaller but these txtures in mods are hell for my PC

If i take closer look to those mods i think those lagy mods are not even detailed inaff to have right to lag but they doo :)

 

 

Now my specs

Dell inspirion

win xp (we hate vista)

1.7 proc dual core

2 gig ram and other usual stuff like it runs on electric pover :)

Done alot of fixing on my pc and still on same issue...

anyway why i have problem only with certain txtures from mods ? Shouldnt i have problem then with all? Basicly i noticed that those txtures are low quality or they are sculpted like hair wigs from apachi store i can survive to live without those sculpts but low pixel textures are harder to spot before download...starting to wonder why moderators just simply dont use same format as in game or better?...but anyway as I am new to this community I simply dont understand TES inaff to figure out what else is hiding behinde that green T shirt texture

Thats just stupid my game works fine without any lag on highest detail but when trying to look in some MODED shirt i start lag like crazy and whats worse i tryied manual lover all settings to lowest possible disable textures etc and that shirt is still making me lag and no im not prepared to see my game in smaller quality just becouse some moder cant see the diffrence in texture formats :wallbash:

My next step: Delete mods that cause lag and ignore further downloads from lagy authors

Does the game run fine when you are in 1st person view-mode?

yes game works perfect in any view problem occurs only by certain clothing mods usualy shoes or shirts when i look at them if i turn around it runs normal again

example entering goodess store makes me lag as hell so if i plan to shop i need cast spell mass undress...most of shoes and shirts are lagy there while armors and weapons are good i figure those items are sculpted in different format then original oblivion files

 

also duke city runs perfect but police uniforms and chuck norris clothes make me lag so im forced to avoid direct look at them

The Goddess store will make most computers lag at least a little. However, once you are out just using a piece of clothing should not cause any noticeable lag. Have you tried with other clothing sets? Is there anything in common with the ones that do lag vs the ones that don't?

I think lagy are only those that somehow afect shape of the body like flat shoes doo OK but High heels freeze big time also goes for chest...armor doesnt change body shape but shirts does so i think problem is not in texture itslef as 1 texture can work perfect on some other clothe piece i think its in 3D model

Are you getting the right clothing for the body you use? If you use the default body, a lot of the modded clothing is made specifically for a particular modded body.

yes i have tested difrent body shapes they all work ok now im using hgec also droping that item on flor cause lag
