Elfes of Lineage II body textures problems

Hi everybody, I've decided to post here because I see strange textures on the back of the Lineage II dark elves females. There is a vertical line at the middle of the back and the skin colour is not the same on each side. with HGEC already installed I decided to install Ozmo's High Rez textures for lineage elves but the problem is still there. I have already noticed that kind of lines on other races (on the arms and indeed on the neck) but I don't remember to have already seen such a thing on the back.

I also have noticed a more general texture problem with all the females char (maybe HGEC is the cause). On the left leg, there is an awfull line with a glowing and a not-glowing side.

I apologize if those problems and their solutions are well-known but I'm not good at english (and I apologize for that too) and not at ease with this forum.

It would be really great if someone could help me. Thanks.

Thanks very much! That mod has fixed most of the problems, but I still have a question about this. The Readme tells me to overwrite the head meshes .nif file of the custom race (here Elves of Lineage II) by the headhuman.egt file of the mod but as a .nif file. And when I do this, all I can see of the face ingame is the eyes and the teeth... Is it an error made when the readme was written? I think I have to overwrite the .egt file of the race mod with the headhuman.egt file still as an .egt file but I'm not sure that's the right thing to do.

I think you misunderstood the readme jp :P

It doesn´t mean to say that you should rename the headhuman.egt to headhuman.nif. What it means to say is that if you want to use the headhuman.egt with a custom race you have to rename the headhuman.egt to match the name of the nif file used for the head of that custom race. In your case, i believe elves of lineage use the mystic elf heads, so what you have to do is make two copies of the headhuman.egt from the seam reducer mod, and name one of them Ren_Head001.egt and the other Ren_Head002.egt, then place these files in the Oblivion\Data\Meshes\Characters\Ren\Head folder and click yes when asked if you want to overwrite the files.

Also if you replaced any of the head nif files with renamed egt files you have to replace them with the original ones before you do what i described above.

Let me know if this fixes the problem or not

Oops I feel a bit silly... I guess I didn't take the time to make a good translation of the readme...

Anyway this mod works perfectly and the textures are far better, the colours are still different between the head and the body (the face is darker) when I load a saved game but it seems that I can improve this when creating a new char by reset the face and play with the complexion slider.

Also the only race I've ever seen which has a perfect harmony between the face and body texture is the Cute elf race with the high skin rez, so I guess I can't expect too much with the lineage dark elf race even with the mod you showed me.

A lot of thanks again, u're my hero  !

LoL You´re welcome :)

And yes its very difficult to get a perfect match between the head and body complexion. Like you said its just a matter of taking some time to play with the slidders. Good luck with that.

Cheers
