L33Nexus
Yeah I agree with Alex there's much better ways to make good interiors without all the extra polys of loads of bricks
clockout1
Sorry if I sound really stubborn and annoying, but that is the only way I can think of doing it. If it helps, I'm looking to make a squarelike corridor with the look of being carved out of shiny volcanic rock, and since I'm not a modeler, I don't think I could do it myself. zprospero
Why don't you give me a few minutes? I think I can help. It'll be much easier the way I have in mind.
clockout1
If you're already making something, I would just like to put something out. Would you mind having panels instead of a full corridor? I would prefer to be able to control the size of the rooms.
zprospero
Well, what I mean is there's a resource of a simple style dungeon: Link You could re-texture it to your obsidian and turn up the gloss. I was going to do a sample corridor to prove the effect.
clockout1
This is not supposed to sound rude, but LOL! I am already using that mod! I am really sorry if I wasted your time.
zprospero
Oh. Don't worry about it. If it's carved from obsidian square might not be the best shape though. You could try a re-texture of this cavern set: Dragon Paths Resource It would likely give you more of the appearance of it being carved out. clockout1
What I'll probably do is add collision data to BlackMask01 because I was going for an exact square shape (it is supposed to look completely unnatural). So I guess I'll tell you why. The dungeon I'm making is actually sinking into another world, in this case, a very dark, depressing, and twisted one. Through scripts, you will be randomly teleported to long, obsidian, square halls, and I would like to create a soundspot for it that is just creepy whispering.
