respawn

hey just wanted to know i its possible to modify npc respawns because when i activated the 28 days and a bit mod (wich is awesome) it killed a LOT of merchants making most armor/weapon/magic mods impossible to obtain :( . and yes i have heard of the 70 hour timer but it seems like a while to wait and some npcs dont respawn at all so i wanted to know if anyone knows a way to change the timer via mod or any other way.

ok 1st they're bodys arent there they became zombies

 

So the game doesn't really consider them 'dead', just in another 'state'/diseased or something to that effect? Would have to figure out the script the mod uses to put them in that state to figure out what console command to reverse it.

 

2nd how do you "target" npcs for console?

 

When you have the console open (~) then click on them with the mouse. Their name and ID number should appear on the top middle of the screen (the name is helpful to ensure you have the correct npc selected and that you don't have a wall or something else selected)

"Ressurect" should work, but if the bodys are gone, you have to place them once again by using the CS. You can also activate 'respawn' for any NPC.

Try and remember: Only NPCs without a name (bandits, guards, creatures etc.) respawn.

 

P. S.: Just drag your NPCs from the Object Window to the Render Window (in any cell). They will return to their usual positions.

 

And better try and kill not every NPC you meet. :wink:
