TheKilla88
I have Windows 7 32 bit, and my computer's hardware is well above Oblivion's requirements. Oblivion worked for me, but I had just installed it to my new computer and only played around for a few minutes to see if it would load right before I installed mods. So I installed mods, and Oblivion still loads. But I go to start a new game, the window comes up asking again, I click yes, and nothing happens. All the other things in the menu work fine, but I can't start a new game. Anybody have any idea why?
DemonicNachos
I'm having the same problem, I figured out that if you disable the mods, and just leave the Oblivion.esm file, it works fine. Must be some kind of mod that messes it all up.
ArmeniusLOD
If you installed to the default location you may have to set security permissions. To do so, right-click on the Oblivion folder, click the Security tab, click "Edit...," select Users from the "Group or user names:" list box, check the checkbox under Allow next to "Full control" in the "Permissions for Users" list box, and click Apply. You can also try reinstalling to a folder outside of Program Files.
