Equip multiple guns - even possible?

As you know - in Vanilla Fallout 3 you can only have one weapon equipped which is also being actively used.

There are 4 places where different weapons are being holstered. Left/Right leg and 2x diagonal on the back.

 

 

Now would it be possible to make a mod which allows to equip one weapon for each one of the four "slots" (visually) or is being able to equip only one weapon at a time hard-coded (which is what I believe)?

 

So for example you could equip a rifle (diagonal on back), pistol (right leg), sword (left leg i guess) and a pool cue (diagonal on the back - the other way) whereas the last equipped weapon would be drawn upon usage of the attack button.

 

I believe if this achieved, it would not be too much of a problem to add a key, which when pressed cycles through the equipped weapons and changes your active weapon - would it?

 

 

Would only like to hear if this was even possible or not - if someone made such a mod I would be very happy though. :whistling:

It has been requested many times, lots of us would love to have such a mod too. But so far, no progress.... only time will tell if there will be such a mod.
