oblivionman777
So a while back I pre-ordered Skyrim for the PS3, and now I have it for PC via the steam sale. Just trying to get up to speed here, is there really no known solution to the lip sync bug introduced in update 1.9? It seems pretty hard to believe there would be no solution, yet alone response from Bethesda, for a glaring issue that started more than a year ago. It has to have been fixed, or at least given a statement from the devs, right? I haven't seen much of a backlash from the Skyrim community as of recent, except for a single obscure Youtube video. Certainly the prominant Skyrim mod reviewers of Youtube would have made an issue of it? Has the community yielded and decided to just put up with it? The only real response to it I've seen was a huge thread addressing that I can't find the end of. Sorry if I seem to make too much of a case for something that's been fixed, but I've found no solution, and it seems like this would be a HUGE problem to an action/RPG in which conversation plays such a prominent role. The dialogue must have taken hundreds of hours to record, and to sync it up with the characters must have been equally toilsome. The facial animations of the NPCs matched with the voice acting, even in TES IV: Oblivion, was one of the coolest features I found in the game. Please tell me there's a fix in sight? Edit: So apparently Bethesda moved on a long time ago and said the would only come back to Skyrim for "minor updates."
