theotherguy
ok I'm going to try to keep this as brief as possible, but i may waffle a bit.... so anyways... I played the FCOM mod middle of last year, using the install instructions that came with it, and it took alot of playing around and a very steep learning curve but i got it all working... i feel the need to come back to Oblivion and i want FCOM installed again, i found this install instruction set: - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19443 - : but am having the issue at the point of 4.10 "a bare minimum FCOM install should now be functionable". when i load up the game to test it there are "WTF I'm missing a MESH" bubbles ever where the open-able creates are.. as in the stacked boxed around the Akatosh statue in the Talos Plaza District of the Imperial City. Now i thought I'd be clever and lazy and just extract the original mesh files back out of the BSA file that came off the oblivion install disc. but i got no idea how to find it... i've tired looking manualy but extracting all the files in the folder but i cant find anything that refers to containers or creates except the Flesh sacks that you find on the plane of oblivion. so then i've tried looking for custom made and improved meshes and cant find any of them either. idea anyone? theotherguy
i figured some would ask what mods i've got... so to save time i'll add it now. where is says *save point* i've just backup my entire oblivion folder to another harddrive, and i've kept each step. so i have OblivionShivering Ilesall the content on the Knights of the Nine Discpatched to "ShiveringIsles_v1.2.0416English" *save point* then have added:- Unofficial Oblivion patch- Unofficial Shivering Iles Patch- Unofficial MOBS patch *save point* - Wrye bash & python- OBSE- OBMM- BOSS- Operation Optimisiation- Tweak Oblivion- Oblivion Script Optimisation - Qarl TP3 full pack- Animated Windows pack- Landscape LOD pack- Natural Enviroment pack- Castle Arpania- Better Gold- a New map pack- improved book jackets pack- HGEC BODY 1.21- Unofficial Oblivion Patch "hotfix" *save Point* Now with just these installed i had no problems so far. Then i started on the FCOM install - Oblivion War cry- Francescos Level Creatures and Items- Marts Monster Mod only have these parts of MMM istalled- Marts Monster Mod.esm - Marts Monster Mod – Dungeons of MMM.esp - Marts Monster Mod – Gems & Gem Dust.esp- Marts Monster Mod – Hunting & Crafting.esp- Marts Monster Mod – Looting NPC’s & Creatures.esp- Marts Monster Mod – More Wilderness Life.esp- Marts Monster Mod – Resized Races- Mart's Monster Mod – Vindasel - Oscuro’s Oblivion Overhaul- FCOM Convergence So far only these parts of Convergence- FCOM_Convergence.esm- FCOM_Convergence.esp- FCOM_Francescos.esp- FCOM_FrancescosItemsAddOn.esp- FCOM_Knights.esp- FCOM_WarCry.esp All Mesh, Texture, Sounds, and other folders were installed.. This is where i again loaded as a test run and found the problem with the creates.

Jenrai
I've seen this a lot. Long story short - I'm thinking there may be an issue with container meshes missing from OOO, but since I already had Harvest Containers, it worked for me. Easy fix - Download Harvest Containers (its named exactly that on the Nexus file site) and install only the meshes and textures. Not the ESP. OOO won't like you if you do that as it already uses it. Viola. Problem solved. Jenrai
