whiteaden Posted February 24, 2010 Share Posted February 24, 2010 Hey guys, I've got plans for a serious mod, (not yet posted here, not the "mod request" I have posted)but I'm kind of stuck on naming characters... so, here I go... I'm looking for dwarven character names, but any race/name combo is welcome because I have yet to decide on whether I want to keep this "deep roads only or if I want to add a surface area to the story... I would appreciate it if you were able to supply me with some background information, so I can see where he or she could fit in best ;) be creative, but try to make the name sound/look like it could really belong in the lore / story... the most important name I'm looking for is a Paragon's name who is has become a paragon through improvements in the field of Black Powder (gunpowder) thanks in advance, //WhiteAden *edit* whoops this should be in the Modding General talk section =( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Norse/Nordic names are always good for dwarves. I also found a lot of results doing a search for "Fantasy dwarf names" on google. For the paragon, how about Blastur FingersOff? Boomer Burningbeard? LOL I'm sorry, I just couldnt resist. Gads, I used to have several old Dwarven adventurers from D&D years back, but for the life of me, I can't remember ANY of their names. :( Sounds like a really cool project tho, I wanna see how this turns out, and definitely wish you good luck with it! :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
whiteaden Posted February 24, 2010 Author Share Posted February 24, 2010 currently the Paragon is called [NAMEHERE] lol... haha I thought about names like those... but "Fantasy" isn't the Dragon Age way... Ironheart, CrushHammer etc. those aren't the types I'm looking for... =) I currenty have zip knowledge of the Toolkit, did the first 'how to create a room' tutorials, but found out I had midterms coming up (lol) so I was kind a screwed... here's a hint of what I'm aiming for... we all know the dwarves have invented explosives, because they used demolitions to seal off Orzammar from the Deeproads and the incoming Darkspawn horde... what we do not know, is who has invented the explosives, and where his Thaig is located (I expect that said person would be an ancestor or paragon at the very least...) and who knows what secrets might be hidden in their lost Thaig... This hammer was for a great god, Thor,(yes, thee hammer) and his rival Loke tried to hinder the forging of the hammer by turning into a mosquito, and distract Brokk. Thus the hammer had a handle a little too short, yet a powerfull hammer. The hammer was named "Mjolner". Brokks was alowed, by Thor, to have Loke`s head.
