Aurielius
Having modded Morrowind I am familar with the placement of both Textures and Meshes in their respective folders in the Data folder, however in my installed version of Oblivion both Meshes and Textures are in a compressed BSA file. My question is simple what utility do i need to open this file type. I have tried both Winzip and Winrar to no avail. I would really appreciate some help with this as there are already armor textures I would love to try out. As a matter of revealing my computer shortcomings, I am not fluent in command line usage. Thanks in advance for usable solulution.
MiNalien
I'm not sure of the URL to it exactly, but find tes4bsa and use it to unzip them. You'll also need to find the option in Oblivion.ini that disables using the bsa files (if you keep the BSA files in the same directory) or (as I did) just move the BSA files to another folder (such as BSA Backups) EditWoah, sorry about that, I didn't realize I was still on the 3rd page of posts
Aurielius
Thank you Min chan , I found the utility tes4bsa and wiki's set of instructions. Now with dosbox and tes4bsa I am armed and dangerous.
