Hello to all, i'm asking for help with a little problem that i have with the male body replacer...i'm only a newbie so i didnt know how to install the mod (i need it for another mod called ancient elven sorcerer) for example after the download i have extracted the archive and i have 3 folders: Data, body variants and Stock Armor & Clothing Fixes.

The files in the data folder are the only that i have installed because i know how to put the files manually but when i open the body variants folder there are many folders such as musc, bulky and slender...if i choose for example musc and i open it another two folders appear: Nude and cloth, i have to choose only one of them right? but where i have to put the .nif files of the folder? in the nude folder the .nif files are the same of C:/Programs/Bethesda softworks/Oblivion/Data/Meshes/Characters/_Male/...but the .nif files of the cloth folder are named in another way!

Please, if anyone out there can help me to solve this problem i'll really apprecciate! sorry for my poor english but i'm italian, hope you understand! Thanks in advance

Hi there!

The files contained in the Body Variants folder are meant to replace the ones that are in C:/Programs/Bethesda softworks/Oblivion/Data/Meshes/Characters/_Male depending on which body type you wish to use. So, if you want to use one of the lowerbodyPants.nif(lowerbody with cloth) files you simply have to choose one of them, rename it to lowerbody.nif and put it in the _Male folder overwriting the one that is already there. Basically there are 4 files that determine the body of male characters, upperbody.nif, lowerbody.nif, hand.nif and foot.nif and are all contained in the _Male folder. These are the files that need to be replaced whenever you want to alter the body type(or just a specific body part) you are using(usually the foot.nif and hand.nif remane the same and you only replace the lowerbody.nif and upperbody.nif files). Having said this, you really don´t need to use anything contained in the body variants folder, its just a bunch of different body options that you can use if you want.

Hope that helps.

Cheers
