Oddjob20
Hi so I just bought FNV with all the DLC's and installed 9 mods. I used Nexus Mod Manager and they are all enabled on there. However in the launcher for FNV, none of the data files are checked. When I check them and hit OK if I go back in they are unchecked. Fallout Mod Manager doesnt work for me because as soon as I check mark any of the mods I get the crash and "something bad has happened." Any help here? Heres the crash report from FOMM Saturday, June 28, 2014 - 3:45:05 PMFomm 0.13.21OS version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7600.0 System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Users\Antonio\AppData\Local\FalloutNV\plugins.txt' is denied. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options) at System.IO.StreamWriter.CreateFile(String path, Boolean append) at System.IO.StreamWriter..ctor(String path, Boolean append, Encoding encoding, Int32 bufferSize) at System.IO.StreamWriter..ctor(String path, Boolean append, Encoding encoding) at System.IO.File.WriteAllLines(String path, String[] contents, Encoding encoding) at Fomm.Games.Fallout3.Fallout3PluginManager.SetActivePlugins(Set`1 p_setActivePlugins) at Fomm.Games.PluginManager.ActivatePlugin(String p_strPath) at Fomm.MainForm.lvEspList_ItemChecked(Object sender, ItemCheckedEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ListView.OnItemChecked(ItemCheckedEventArgs e) at L0ki.Controls.ReordableItemListView.OnItemChecked(ItemCheckedEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ListView.WmReflectNotify(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ListView.WndProc(Message& m) at L0ki.Controls.ReordableItemListView.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)
Unno
Go into C:\Users\Antonio\AppData\Local\ and create a folder named FalloutNV. There are a few more suggestions in the provided link. ~source
Oddjob20
Go into C:\Users\Antonio\AppData\Local\ and create a folder named FalloutNV. There are a few more suggestions in the provided link. ~sourceI already have the folder there. In the plugins file it says this.: # This file is used by Fallout NV to keep track of your downloaded content.# Please do not modify this file.CaravanPack.esmClassicPack.esmDeadMoney.esmFalloutNV.esmMercenaryPack.esmTribalPack.esm Shouldn't it say all of the mods I have too? Unno
Right click on plugins.txt > properties > uncheck Read-only. This will allow FOMM to edit the file.
