I raided the files and couldnt find a decent night sky so was wondering if someone could make a great night sky the orginal is bland and almost starless so its hard to feel the atmosphere so I was wondering if its not to much to ask if someone would make a pitch black sky night filled with vibrant white stars?

oh if its possible can you increase the size of the moon?

This is quite popular: Better Night Sky

 

I don't believe you can increase the size of the moons, just alter the textures.

 

It doesn't alter the stars though. I was wondering how to alter it and went ahead and

did some edits myself when I found this mod which, of course, already does what I was

trying to do.

 

When I found it I had already altered the stars and turned up the sharpness on

the moon textures, so if the vanilla stars with that mod still bother you I can

send you the star texture replacer that I had made.

the sky looks cool ^^ im using better night sky atm I dont care for it too much :\

 

but yeah i will use what you did it looks alot better. :)

I uploaded it here on the Nexus. It's nothing spectacular, but

maybe in conjunction with the other mod it'll do what you want.

I rather think you linked to the wrong mod. The one you linked to changes the number of adversaries in levelling lists, not the sky.

mod looks cool but judging by reviews looks bad -.- i see reviews of peoples games being ruined cause of the mod

Check out Cosmic Skycycling. There's about 50 superb images, and a whole lot of other images. You don't have to use the program (the sky cycler); just flip through the images in the data folder. I have a few favorites that I periodically switch up. I also use one of the Masser textures from there, and my Secunda texture comes from Better Night Sky. Haven't seen any oversized moon textures, though.
