mordred kaides Posted April 12, 2006 Share Posted April 12, 2006 Hi everyone I've been playing rp's(ofline) for quite sometime now.offline I'm almost all the time the GM so when I heard there was a thing like rping on forem i saw my oppertunity to play my own char. well that's getting a bit boring, not that I will stop with my current char but i wanted something more. I'm starting this rp thread, but only if there are enough competeters (between 4-8 ).so if your interested post here. I've read the rules of setting up a new story so I will explain rules and story first.beggining with the rules. -you chouse one of four races no mixing allowed! -the standerd rp rules are applied so no power playing -specify skills before starting(so that i can adjust the settings on them) -also specify items carried and clothes armor etc(same reason)o.k. now for some tips - be creative - be realistic - pay attention to the envirement i sometimes "hide" something special in the envirement - and last but certenly not least be creative (I realy apriciate/reward that)and now the settings the story takes place in the thirde era of a distant kingdom where six great races fight for survival, land, protection, or gold. The Elves in the great forests of serra. in the south east of the land. The Dwarves in the mountains of Kel'ror. in the west of the land. The southerlings in the coastel cities of Marcane. in the south of the land. The nortlings or nords in the land of eden. in the north of the land. The Dragons residing anywhere the others can't reach. And a group of Elves known only as the Forsaken, no one knows where they are hiding. more details on the races and classes will come tomorrow. :D only the top four(Elves, Dwarves, Souterlings and Nords) are playable. now for the story... The story begins in the capital of the Eden Kingdom wich is also named Eden.the sity is under voilent attack by the Forsaken and the Northlings don't no how to start fighting back because the attecks seem to come from the inside. the southern king saw the oppertunity to in prisson the Forsaken by erecting a giant force field around the city. The city guard has maneged to fight the enemy back to the caves they come from but do not dare to enter them so the King has send message to all the taverns and pubs in the city for adventurers to gather in the Cathedral square to deliver the final strike to the Forsaken within the belly of the beast. the rp will consist of a few elements. -fighting -puzzeling -planning(explained later) -convincing if there are any interested please post here. mordred kaides Posted April 14, 2006 Author Share Posted April 14, 2006 O.K. now for some info on the races and classes. -Elves strenghts -very fast -a lot of stamina -good with magic(miner Gaya magic even with non magic classes) -no natural death weaknesses -arrogant( but not neccercarely) -low strenght -vegetarien(disgust meat thus can't eat it) -Dwarves strenghts -very strong -great sprinters(not very good on long distences) -very social -thick skin weaknesses - not very good on magic accept devine - short - vieuw penalty in daylight(used to caves) -southernlings strenghts -a custemd to warm climat -good with magic( mages get a +1 bonus on school of choice) -good with spears -familiar with the sea weaknesses -not a costumed to cold climats -minor fear of heights -not very good in keeping a low profile -Northelings strenghts -a costumed with cold climats -great climbers -good with swords and axes -very lean weaknesses -not a costumed with hot climats -a minor fear of deep waters -a penalty in al schools of magic the only possible mixture between races is between northlings and southerlings and has no weaknesses but also no strenghts. schools of magic -devine -gives healing and can give auras(for example people forget their fears) randomly saved by devine intervention(a arrow dissapears with no reason whilest flying at a group member). -Conjurer - has the power to conjure weapons, armor, and creatures also can call gohsts for tips or to posses someone/thing -elemantel -commands the five elments water, air, fire, stone, ice -Gaya -talks/sings to nature can summen plants and critters for aid als got beast tongue -mystecism -the power to change the envirement givhing waterwalking/breathing pushe/pull objects enchanting of objects creation of illusion -abstract -powers of the mind over mind and time can be used to slow attackers mindread forseeing and telepathy with groupmembers all school can be masterd on three levels (minor, major, master) classes (possible to create own class). -Arcmage -1 school of magic master level -shortblades or staff combat -light armor -empowerd -2 schools of magic at major level -staff combat -unarmored -apprentice -3 scools of magic of wich 1 major and 2 minor -staff bow or short sword combat -light or medium armored -thief -minor mistecisem or improved senses -short blade -unarmored -assasin -light armor -shortblade -bow -paladin -major devine magic -axe or broad sword -heavy armor -warrior -long sword, dual short sword or axe combat -medium or heavy armor -armorer skill Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
